WHAT WARRANTY DOES AYLIMA HAVE? The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the product itself. In the email you must include your full name, address, order number and a detailed description of the problem. Finally, please write “Warranty case” as the subject of your email or letter. IPL works best on darker hair colours. People with lighter hair colours such as red, grey and very blond (white) hair are advised not to use IPL as a hair removal method. This is because very light hair does not contain enough melanin to carry the light down to the root, while red hair contains a different type of melanin and does not respond well to IPL treatment. It is possible to see results with blonde hair and it may take more treatments than for people with darker hair before the desired results are achieved.

IPL also requires a low skin content of melanin, so it does not attract the light but instead the hair does. Dark skin tones are therefore more likely to absorb the intense pulses of light, which can burn the skin.

Wait at least 48 hours before sunbathing after each treatment. Even after 48 hours, make sure that the treated skin does not show any redness. If you expose your skin to the sun (without deliberate sunbathing) for 48 hours after treatment, apply sunscreen SPF50+ to the treated areas. After this period, you can use SPF30+ for two weeks. After sunbathing, please pay attention to your skin to make sure that you are not burned. Perform a skin test to determine the light intensity setting. Do not use IPL on sunburnt body areas.

If you have used an artificial sunscreen, for example (tan without sun), then please wait until the artificial tan has disappeared before treating with IPL. NB! Incidental and indirect sun exposure does not qualify as sunbathing.
