1. Shave and clean the area to be treated.

2. Plug in the power cord and turn on the device.

3. Select your desired power level (1-6)

4. Put on the safety glasses provided.

5. Place the device against the skin so that the red light starts flashing.

6. Press the light flash button, move the device to a new area and repeat.

7. Treatment complete. If you want, apply aloevera gel or moisturizing creme / lotion.

No. IPL works best on darker hair colors. We advise against treating people with lighter hair colors such as red, gray and white hair with IPL.

This is because very light hair does not contain enough melanin to be able to bring the light down to the root, while red hair contains another type of melanin that does not respond well to IPL treatment.

It is possible to see results with blonde hair and more treatments may be needed than for people with darker hair before the desired result is achieved.

No. IPL needs a low melanin content in the skin, so the skin does not attract the light but the hair. Dark skin tones are therefore more likely to absorb the intensely pulsating light, which can burn the skin.
